C++ Builder

Welcome back C++ Builder world!

It has been a while since I have developed in C++ Builder. Version 5, I believe approximately one decade ago. Sheesh, that seems like a life time in IT terms. Java, dotNET, and a few other technologies have kept me busy in the mean time. But now it seems, this native code development drought has ended for me!

Monday 27 March 2017 was the launch of Embarcadero's RAD Studio 10.2, which brings Linux as a new platform to the native code multi-platform development landscape. What a great milestone this is. At the moment only Delphi has joined in the fun. C++ Builder will jump on the Linux bandwagon from the next release on.

C++ Builder is the way to go if you are into high performance C++ 11 native platform independent binaries. I suggest you start right away by downloading the free C++ Builder Starter Edition, here.

In the coming weeks and months I will be sharing my C++ Builder long lost love experiences with you, so be sure to check this space at least once per week!

Greetings ;)
